Moving Day is Tomorrow
Dude. We’re moving. Yeah, I know you know we’re moving – this isn’t the first time I’ve mentioned that we’re moving. The point of this post isn’t to say that we’re going to move – we’re actually moving, and it all starts tomorrow morning.
We’ve been in a holding pattern, as has most of Seattle this past week (largely due to poor weather conditions); we were supposed to sign the final paperwork yesterday, according to my calendar. That’s happening tomorrow, before the movers come and move us – and remember, they were going to move us two other times before this one, so the conversation went something like this:

I wish we had known about this site last year when we moved: Most complaints against movers are overlooked and the consumer becomes a statistic while no action is ever taken against the moving company… Related Content:Moving Day is TomorrowMoving CalendarsMovingMovers Move MovingGroup MentalitySpeed Limit 75Another “Moving” DayIntel Hates Bloggers?Wedding BellsBoxes Boxes Boxes

I had the movers in my driveway in the rain waiting to unload to my new house a few years ago when my wife and her mother-in-law from China stopped the whole process. ‘No one goes in until we clean the house’ she said. The guys in the rain were like ‘wtf–it’s empty?” But then my wife and mother in law grabbed a broom and ran through the house, waving the broom at the ceiling, the walls, and ocassionally the floors.
‘We had to get rid of the ghosts first’ my mother-in-law said to me and the movers, by this time drenched from the pouring rain. ‘Whatever’ they said as they started to unpack.
Hopefully your move will go better.

You and Ponzi were great at the signing this morning. Mixed a bit of humor in with the important stuff, a blowing up ink pen, the caffeine buzz along with NO sleep…You guys did great. I’ll send the pics to you a bit later. See you at the house for the keys, the cleaning, and the moving truck. YEAH!! Your friend & Realtor, Stan
