Modest Needs
“It is in honor of these people that I have decided to create and fund Modest Needs, a website dedicated to those people who find themselves faced with unexpected expenses that, though relatively minor, threaten to stretch their budgets to the very limit. Beginning 1 April 2002, I will be distributing 10% of my monthly income to assist people who find themselves in that position.”

Chris… You, my friend… have just gained my deepest respect(not that you didn't have it already). Hopefully, one day I can become at least half the person you are.

Chris,
This is a neat concept. Do you know the English teacher who set this up? You really should clarify your post, as at first glance it looks like you are the one who set up the Modest Needs website. After much digging, I discovered it is not you. It is an awesome idea, as long as no one takes advantage of him or abuses his system.

Perhaps Mr. GnomeTome intended for people to think this was his idea……

Chris– I am an avid supporter of Modest Needs, and I, too was confused when GOOGLE turned up this page as a topic for the Modest Needs Foundation. I would recommend a quote source for your entry here. It does sound like you created Modest Needs– I know you probably didn’t intend it to read that way.
Thanks!
