Moblog Contest
You want your own phone blog? Put down that pocketbook and flip over to the Textamerica Moblog contest. Yes, the same people who host C:\PIRILLO.jpg for free are now giving you the opportunity of a blogtime. If you have any Web design skills whatsoever, give it a shot and you may walk away with a Nokia 3650. That's what I've been using to capture life through the lens. And now that they've given me my own photo-filled RSS feed, I've been assimilated further into their collective. I guess that would make them the Blorg? Gosh, I like it when companies listen to what I want them to do. Any other corporate-types out there need my advice?

I just wish they would bring their TextAmerica Text service back! They took it down rather suddenly, and … nothing. Sort of ironic, considering they are TextAmerica!

free text service = our numbering system is “near extinction” and will eventually stop working, but the send free sms link is still on the site… on the contest being a good concept, but needing a phone in order to enter – that's just not the case because you can email images to the site with any email program, which we don't really publicize, but it is the case, so you can do it without a cam phone! :-)
