In terms of security, they say it meets industry standards for security, all the data is encryted and none is stored on the phone. They said it's like using a website to enter card numbers. I know that the CC is insecure by nature and way outdated, that theoretycally any shop can bug their POS terminal, but this is really the easiest way to cheat. Having said that, I am a mobile developer and 'do everything and anything with your mobile' type of guy with lots of ideas, but it just sounds wrong. On the other hand people just don't get security, so why not do it. :) But wait... I just figured out a secure (at least trackable) way of doing it! :) The only problem is that it's less convenient and less 'instant' and that's the very reason why people usually ignore security issues.
