Merlin Mann of 43 Folders on Information Overload
Most of us are overloaded with distractions and obligations in our work and personal lives: Too many meetings. Too many deadlines. Too much email. Too much voicemail. Too many instant messages. Too many RSS feeds to read every day. And that’s before you consider any unexpected obligations. Merlin Mann of 43 Folders has a handle on taming all these distractions and obligations by teaching people to eliminate the unnecessary, illustrating strategies to minimize distractions, and effectively defining life hacks to tame all those obligations. Here Jake talks with Merlin following a Harvard Business School Technology Alumni luncheon where Merlin showed off a few tricks for managing your inbox. Merlin offers several tips for people looking to take control of information overload.
