Gretchen and Chris, I admire your restraint. I'd a gushed right up to Jobs and and shown him a picture of my Newton Aquarium Ornament. “I got your Aqua look, right here, Stevie.”
My favorite part of your video, tho, was the chic behind the counter typing on the cash register. Chris is just jabbering away, and she's not even listening to him. The big red sign is in front of him, and she's like; “talk to the sign, valley-boy”. It was great.
You guys need one of those Pontiac Vibes with the AC outlet so you can make smoothies on the way to buy your next Ex-Mac. With OS MXVII. .

It would have been TOTALLY perfect to get him on camera… but well, ya know, we didn't really want to impose on his privacy by whipping out the camera and saying “Hey Steve, we were waitin' fer youse, hyuk, hyuk! Can you sells us one of them Mac thing-a-ma-jigs?”
He didn't appear to want to stick around and make small talk, esp. after Chris recognized him, so what the hey. :) We didn't want to look too much like crazed fans…

Way cool. The power button is not an issue though. No crashes = no reboot = power button don't matter ;)
Man, I wish I would meet Steve while shopping sometime. Too bad I'm in Germany most of the time…

You have Apple stores over there? Darn. Though I did have chance to play with an iMac today – they are seriously cool. Just a pity X-Setup won't work on it…

Honest to God, it was Steve Jobs. I can say this because I spotted him first, and said to Chris, “Hey isn't that Steve Jobs?” When Chris introduced himself to the guy, he confirmed it.
Sprocket might tell the truth, but since he never is interested in TV or books (not even Animal Planet, sheesh!) he wouldn't know what the heck Jobs would look like in the first place…

Father Carras walks into the room and there in the middle is Chris, his head rotated 180 degress unpacking his Apple.
“Good Heavens – it's Lucifer in a carton tempting mankind again with an APPLE as he did in the garden of Eden”
Chris utters the words of Job (sounds kinda churchy like)
“And the IMac will come forth and multiply and the demons of IBM will shatter as did Job empire's….. And the on/off button shall jam and ye shall forever reboot into the OS/X from HELL”
Been there tried that threw it out the door. Good for some things but too many buts to be excused
