The problem is that you have to have LAN access of some sort to the box in order to re-flash the firmware. To do this, explicitly set your NIC to 10Mbps half-duplex, plug the router in, let it do it&#039;s little diag thing, then hold the reset button for 30 seconds. It should then respond on the default IP address of 192.168.1.1, at which point you can re-flash the firmware.
