I am only interested in people with websites. It's not about the personal information they reveal. It's that you're able to observe their personality from a distance.

Part of what shoved me in to going to the gathering where I met “DateMan” was that I had read his blog first … now we just have to wait and see where time takes us! I can say that so far it's more successful than any of my online dating service adventures have been!

I think that meeting someone online is a way to bypass all the stereotypes and really get to know the person. You don't have to play the typical dating games. It's a lot more honest. If we had met IRL, I don't believe we would've ever spoken to each other. We're both *hugely* shy but chatting online allowed us to see the (geeky) person inside, and get to know each other really well before we met.
