Lord Of The Fridge

Everybody Loves Raymond” is about the only sitcom that makes me howl with laughter anymore. I'm very thankful that Ray's mom isn't like my mom (who treats Gretchen very kindly). I'm also very thankful that Gretchen can cook. In fact, she's stewing up some… hang on. Oh, nothing. Any suggestions as to what we should have for supper? I've had about enough of ham, and I don't think we have any fish defrosted. I have a strange feeling we'll end up with Polish sausages again. She was serious the other night when she said: “But I made the cheesecake just for you!” Right. For the guy who hates dessert. Someone's been standing a little too close to the microwave.

I'm checking my schedule to see if I can make the next Bay Area Weblogger Interest Group. Robert Scoble posted something about it earlier today. My evenings have been so incredibly busy lately; I don't know if I'll be able to make it. Tomorrow, CFH is going dark so that we can move from the third floor up to the fifth.

We now interrupt this irregularly scheduled blog to announce that my wife is making something with ground beef. I repeat, my wife is making something with ground beef for dinner. Witnesses on the scene have indeed confirmed that this is the plan. Without the love, it's just a ball of meat. There is no further information at this point. Stay tuned for details.

Since we're not doing a show, Gretchen and I can take off for Santa Rosa earlier. I've been told that it'll take us between 45 minutes to an hour and a half to get there. I still have no idea how many people I should be expecting to meet. If it's like every other user group on the planet, I'd be lucky to have ten show up. Who knows?
