That is an insane deal!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me mad I don’t have money for it. I really want those speakers for my room :( But hopefully there will be a deal when I have money.

I was thinkin’ of bying this, great pc speakers! a few of my friends have it and i have tryed it.
but i decided to buy myself a cerwin vega speaker set insted..
they are much bigger, more sound, and more base(wich we like^^)

when i get my new 32″ LCD and set it all up u can problerbly hear me from here(Norway) to where u are ^^

I picked these up from tigerdirect after watching the video of Chris throwing out his back lifting the box his speakers came in. No not really, he had a hernia. I keed, I keed.

The buy.com deal is pretty cheap for the z-5500, even cheaper than tigerdirect. You still have to fill out and send in the rebate stuff, and then wait 4 to 8 weeks to get your $40 check, but those with patience will be richer for their time. They sound great to me.

This is a fantastic deal, I have Logitech X230 speakers, and Philips MMS321 speakers, I cannot Imagen what these speakers are like, im sure you would need an awesome sound card such as the X-FI to enjoy them to their full potential.

Hmmm, I wish I went with these speakers instead. I bought the new Bose MusicMonitors for $399, but they don’t sound anywhere near the price point would indicate.

These speakers are awesome I just bought a pair for my system. Everything sounds so much better and believe it or not, since I changed to these speakers I don’t have turn my volume all the way just to here something. The clarity 10/10, and they look awesome.

i wanted to say i think this is a great deal. iam also looking into buying a new speaker system. I would consider this system for the rebate alone not only its a great system.. I have been doing some shopping and seen a lot of great systems. The best deal I’ve seen on these speakers is $150 w/ shipping at amazon last week. My friend has these speakers and they are amazing! I can’t walk in his room without feeling the walls shake and at the same time I am surrounded by sound.

I also own a pair of these speakers. I only use them as stereo since i don’t have room for full 5.1 setup.
They sound great! easy to setup,and there loud! there a bit much for the price,
but you can all ways get them on ebay. I highly recommend these speakers. if your a audiophile.!

For an awesome speaker system for your computer on a budget, just go to garage/yard sales and look for a decent set of large speakers and a receiver, and hook that up to your computer! Presto! A bad-ass, great sounding stereo for sometimes less than $50, and almost always less than $100.
