Live Calls Make the World Go ‘Round
Ok, so maybe they don’t – but they sure are fun! We do live calls on the stream a few nights a week, provided I get enough sponsors. I used to foot the bill for the calls myself on the toll free number. However, in one month alone the bill came up to just over $500.00! That’s crazy, but there you have it.
We get a lot of interesting calls, and a lot of weirdos. I guess people feel that it’s their “fifteen minutes of fame” if they call in and scream obscenities. No matter, I still enjoy doing them for the most part. A lot of great content ends up coming out this way, and you’ll be able to see some of what we recorded through the coming days right here in my blog.
Sparking conversation and thoughts is what I love to do the most. It’s so great to be able to foster the Geeks and Lockergnome communities, where excellent topics are being posted each and every day!

I don’t blame you for not wanting to pay for the calls.
Of course you could use Skype… But you don’t like Skype calls for some reason.
I think it’s neat to call and talk to you in person.
The one time we talked, I got tongue-tied, and didn’t really know what to say.
I was amazed that you even knew me… since I’m really just an ordinary middle-aged guy who likes to blab into the computer.

I’ve been in photography for 2 years now and the only reason that stops me is time. I dont have time to take/compose photos. When i got home I feel so stress after all day work. I am thinking of quitting the job actually and pursue this career. I’d really love photography but what will you do if you cant find time. I afraid that if I quit my present bread and butter I will be miserable. But at the back of my mind is if not now WHEN? Should I be locked myself on this boring job. Work for the sake that you need to live. This is not the life that I looking for. I feel like if I continue this, I will die very very soon. If anyone of you can advise me, I WOULD REALLY MUCH APPRECIATE!
Eversince my inclination is with art. Anything, music, theatre arts, bands, singing, etc. I see everything around me is art. And I believe Photography is one of the best way you could express the art you have in mind. Get the good angle blended with some skills in how to use the camera and WALA! you have instant good photo. Do it first for yourself. Let your self be pampered on how want to capture things around you. Surely, later people would recognize your works. Remember where are the great artist comes from. Maybe before you know it you have discovered something that nobody hasn’t done yet.
