They did a good job on the ports to Linux they have released. I use it on Fedora and it works great. No real bugs yet. I’m sure they’ll make more versions for other Linux distros soon.

I have the same problem as you do Sam. I use 64-bit Ubuntu 8.10 so unfortunately I can run all the cool air apps. Hopefully they will release a 64 bit version soon.

I actually tried to get air up and running in Ubuntu yesterday. My system handled the install but refused to load any programs I tried tho.

Probably because I run 64-bit, I guess. But I’m looking forward for the next, more reliable, step in development of this exciting platform!

Oh wow. I used the beta on my ubuntu installation(when I had one) a long time ago and had no problems with it. I’m glad to see that they finally released a final version for it. GO LINUX! I have a windows laptop and a ubuntu desktop,btw.

I’m using AIR now on Ubuntu and it’s working great. No trouble at all. Specifically using it for tweetdeck.
