Lightweight Laptop Prices
http://live.pirillo.com/ – Why do lightweight or ultra-portable laptops usually cost more than larger laptops?
A few things probably go into the higher cost of a lightweight laptop:
- The cost to produce the lightweight components needed generally cost more (the smaller the component becomes, the more it can cost)
- Engineering the components together in such a way that a bulky cooling system isn't necessary to keep the system cool costs more money.
- People are willing to pay more for the convenience. Some people are really particular and are willing to pay a lot more for a lighter laptop or a different color.

s machine caused it to run really hot, so I needed a good way to cool it. I tried out the Chill Pak I ordered awhile back. Oh and yes… her MacBook Pro has a red Spec case.
