Let Sleeping Dads Lie
My dad is a sound sleeper. Even in his deepest slumber, nothing will wake him up – other than someone changing the channel. His unconscious mind loves watching Barney Miller and Gomer Pyle. I don't know how he does it, but I finally captured this phenomenon on camera. Kinda. What a parlour trick!

Hey, that's just like my old man too…only yours is a HELL of a lot quieter. We can't watch tv while he's sleeping because we can't hear it above his snores.

Reminds me of my Dad, before he had an operation to lessen his snoring.

How about those old guys who love the TV volume pumped up and then when you turn it down they suddenly wake up and say, “Turn it back up, I was watching that!”.

Looks like he is dreaming … “Go ahead! Pull My Finger!”

Well we certainly know what side of the family your 'fro came from. @:-) Your dad must be the envy of his friends with hair like that, no male pattern baldness here.

Oh yes, I dig the man's hair. Sort of Adonis-looking. I'm jealous.

I'm not sure which is scarier, that you videotaped your dad sleeping, or that we all sat and watched it!
