Lee and Sachi Prove The World is not Flat
Seattleite bloggers, Lee and Sachi, are planning to spend a year traveling around the world and blogging, flickr tagging and documenting every step of the way. The dropped by the Pirillo house a mere three days before the big adventure begins, fresh off a plane from a dogsled run in Banff, Canada. They leave Seattle on 11 December 2005, to catch up with family before diving into their adventure at the first official stop in New Zealand. Ponzi and Chris talk to Lee and Sachi about the steps required in preparing for an excursion of this magnitude, what gear they are bringing, the gadgets to keep the blogging going and some of their expectations in preparing for a trip around the globe. Follow along on their travel blog, The World is Not Flat (TwinF) or comment on your own travel experiences abroad. If you happen to live in one of their destinations, they’d love to meet you.

They have been touring the world since December and I’ve been following along on their journey through The World is not Flat. We spoke with them for the show a few days before they left, so it will be fun to hear about their adventures in person. [...]
