I understand both sides of the dicussion and fully support both sites that have full feeds and those that choose partial feeds.
Partial feeds are fine if they are done correctly:
1. Partial feeds must have titles/abstracts created by a human, not just the first few lines of the post! Nothing makes me hit the delete button faster then a partial-feed that has no actual content.
2. Partial feeds should never include ads. I will happily deal with the ads when I go to your site to read the full post.
3. Always include direct links to read/post comments. (Yea, this applies just as well to full feeds.)
For chris.prillo.com I am very happy that you you are providing full feeds (and I will gladly welcome google ads in the rss to keep full feeds) mainly because I get a headache trying to read your blog directly. The yellow notepad background is bad enough, but the huge font on top of it just kills me! Just look how much easier it is to read the comments because they are on a white background! :p

PS. Call_For_Help will never be the same without you!

Chris,
1) Thanks for returning to full feeds. I appreciate it.
2) "Wide" people like me have a saying: "Don't go food shopping or eat prunes when you are famished."
3) Some "fatherly"(I'm old) advice : Don't blog when angry. And ignore your anonymous critics.

And as the html didn't quite work, my web address is andymerrett.co.uk - not to get free hits, but so you can find me and flame me if you so desire - but keep it in context.

How convenient all you anonymous posters throwing insults. Don't use the 'can't log in' excuse either- you can still sign your names. If you're gonna be rude or tell people to go back to where they came from, at least have the decency to admit to it without doing pseudo-anonymous internet posts - which is lame and cowardly.

For the record, I dropped your blog because of the obnoxious wanna-be-hand-written font :0
It was the lines which did it for me. Can't stand them.

I don't mind partial quote feeds, but I usually turn back to visiting the main page of the blog when it happens. I think what bothered me was that didn't work either in your case because of the link a roo main page where the entries didn't show on the main page either. (I admit I'm a lazy clicker and it was too many clicks in this case)
