Keith Oberman's Countdown
Tipped off by a recent comment, I tuned into MSNBC at 9PM in the hopes of seeing that Edison wax cylinder blooper. Sure enough, they played it a few minutes ago. “Thank you, Mr. Host.” What?! I have a name, Keith. It's Chris. Chris Pirillo. You killed my father. Prepare to die. No, not really… but thanks to whoever thought the clip was funny enough to throw on the air. I'll make more for you, if you'd like. Give me a few months – and you'll know my name next time.

“Give me a few months – and you'll know my name next time.” Could it be? Could it be that the Gnome will be back on the tube? Man, I hope so.

That Princess Bride reference was inconceivable! Now I shall continue my search for the six-fingered man. Wait, I just combined two characters, where's my book…or better yet, my DVD!

I laughed, I cried, I pissed myself. Another great moment in broadcast history is remembered. You actually stole airtime from Jacko, Scott Peterson and the Democratic primary, Today Countdown; tomorrow. The Daily Show? Where does it end? (Hint, Hint?)

Does your return have anything to do with TechTV being aquired by Comcast? I'm just grasping at straws at this point.

Dear Mr Oberman,
I thought I had listened to all prostitutions of my language(English) but your guest tonight (1/15/04)saying “exactly similar” beats “almost uniuqe” as the winner.
Keep up the good work, we enjoy your show.

Is it just me or am I the only one who felt bad for this guy?
What ever happened to him?
Was that item truly one of a kind?
I mean he looks like he might have something like ParkinsonÂ’s disease and you are all laughing about what happened!
What happens when you get older and you make a mistake because your body is failing you?
Would you want people to laugh at you too?
You are all pretty sad.

Dear Keith,
Who would ever guess that I now rush home by 9PM in order to catch your show each night? You have truly elevated TV news to another level! Your wit, humor, energy, and pure class has helped me deal with some dreary news each evening. I love your honest approach to issues and guests alike! Plus the fact that you're so damn sexy and smart only adds to my fascination! Thank you for bringing some much needed rejuvenation to the TV wasteland! You are terrific, and I thank you for just being YOU!! By the way, have you ever thought of running for public office? I am ready to jump on your campaign wagon the moment you throw your hat in!

No Guts- After listening to Tom Cruise rant about his religion ( and that is what he was doing) You didn't go after the reasons behind such a stupid outburst. No one asked where he recieved his medical training.
His Prof. was L.R. Hubbert and his
brainwashing, money makeing religion.
I would not go to one of his movies even if he wasan't goofy.

Dear Mr Oberman,,
first of all let me say,,God Bless You for using your voice to not be afraid to tell the truth about this “White House”,, you are like a breath of Spring in this world,,I am so sick of being told I should always be afraid of something,,I am 81 years old and have gone through several presidents and this one we have now is scary,,he is a terrorist in his own right,,He or his cronies never have a positve thing to say except when they are lieing,,which they do a lot,,
I want our young men home where they belong,,this is not a sacred war,, this is an abomination,,our young people are being sacrificed for what?? There is no clear or concise reason for them to be there now,,those people are alwsys going to be at war with each other..I watched him sping the 9/11 disaster today to his way of thinking and it sickened me,,
What an imbicile the people have elected,, I just hope they had dropped the scales from their eyes and get these shysters out of office in the next election,,Continue your good work of bringing us the truth,,not many are able to do that now,,seems the media is not prone to let us know it,,,

Dear Mr. Oberman,
My family and I think Countdown is about the best program there is; based on your pointed political remarks. I just heard the repeat of your Monday tirade on the president, and I was stunned with its honesty and what I believe is accuracy. How had I missed it? I am glad you repeated it, and yes, your follow-up comments tonight were right on. It seems to me you hit on every issue. I had just heard George Bush angrily berrating his questioners at the press conference today, and I was ranting impotently around the house about what we have come to with this imbecile president. Maybe I give him too much credit by using that term. You put it so well. I want everybody to hear your statement. Noone else is speaking so clearly about him, and we need that.
I have never felt ashamed to be an American until George Bush was reinstated in the presidency, done only because so many voted for him. I can’t believe his approval ratings are going up again! How can people not see through him and everything he does? I know of nothing he has done that I agree with, but many fall for it! I thought we had sunk as low as was possible. And now we’re discussing whether we should approve torture in prisons! And the president of the United States is angrily demanding it.
Thank you for your astute remarks. Please keep up the good work. Thank goodness one person isn’t afraid to speak the truth instead of beating around the bush.
Best regards,
Jeanette Bishop

This Administration now find themselves isolated in the world community and at home . After depleting our military assets, both personnel and material, and creating an enormous debt for “Our Grandchildren” to pay, The “West Texas Gunslinger and his posse’ now have the desire to negotiate with Iran and North Korea. Those negotiations will take place form a weakened position verses where we were prior to invading Iraq. We once had the world community on our side, now, I fear that most nations are wanting the U. S. to fall. Thanks for your Monday night show, the American people need to hear more comments such as yours. Great writing, was it yours?

Dear Media,
Within the last few months, you’ve given a lot of attention to the 9/11 Truth Movement. In rare circumstances, we’ve even gotten a “fair shake.”
However, your guests have consisted of Dylan Avery, Corey Rowe, Jason Bermas, James Fetzer, Kevin Barrett, Dave Von Kleist, Charlie Sheen, Alex Jones, Dr. Robert Bowman, Michael Berger, Paul Thompson and Dr. David Ray Griffin.
We don’t know if you’re aware or not (you haven’t reported on it), but the original members of the 9/11 Truth Movement have been busy as of late.
On August 4th, 2006, 9/11 family members Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, Mindy Kleinberg, and Monica Gabrielle released a statement that questioned the “entire veracity” of the 9/11 Commission’s report.
On September 5th, 2006, a documentary endorsed by the families that fought for the creation of the 9/11 Commission was released entitled, “9/11: Press For Truth.”
On September 11th, 2006, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., family members Donna Marsh O’Connor, Michelle Little, and Christina Kminek asked for, “a new investigation into the events of September 11th, and this time, a truly bipartisan, global, with families invested from the beginning, middle, and throughout the end.”
On October 14th, 2006, Monica Gabrielle, Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, and Patty Casazza released a petition that calls for, “the immediate declassification and release of all transcripts and documents relating to the July 10, 2001 meeting that took place between former CIA Director George Tenet and then National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice” as well as “the declassification and release of both the redacted 28 pages of the Joint Inquiry Into The Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 (JICI) and the CIA Inspector General’s report, “CIA Accountability With Respect To The 9/11 Attacks”. In the span of three days, they’ve managed to get 2041 signatures.
Considering all of the nice publicity you gave to Ann Coulter, don’t you think it’s time you started giving OTHER members of the 9/11 Truth Movement a “fair shake?”
We do. You have been challenged.
Sincerely,
The 9/11 Truth Movement

Dear Keith,
Do you think that fat egotistical Rush Limbaugh has any effect on instructing his cult listeners to chage party affiliations so Hillary can beat Barrack so McCaine doesn’t have to face off against Obama ? Limbaugh is sickening.

Hi Racheal , I:m a big believer in you just from watching you on Kieth Oberman. I do love your good use of precise stats of just looking at the data and at the same time trying to be fair and non partison. Well, to get right to what I”d like to express: If a person is tunining in late with less than month in a half till the final vote than in order to get a easy quick update go to factcheck.org to compare the the candidates position on issues which should rationally take presidence. That is issues should take presedence. Then, they can go to both Obamas” and Mccains” web site and compare their positions on the issues. MCcain can hold his head up proudly in serving the country during the Vietnam war. Although, , if we don”t pick the true change candidate: Obama/Biden, Then the U.S. has a greater chance of going bankrupt and the whole world could posibly pay more ways than just finantially. This would be because of the poor example that would be sent to other countries in relation to drill baby drill our selves into more hurricanes and displaced people through out the world. This is because many republicans, like Sara Palen, don”t believe in global warming and distrust the world Scientists on data in favor for leaving it up to an unknown supernaturalism.. Either that, or the republicans are just taking a lazzie affaire; don”t give a shit attitude with just let the chidren and grandchildren deal on their own on the problems we gave them. We”ll be dead and gone livin it up in paradise or what ever.
