SpamAssassin: Your system administrator or ISP has implemented a policy to block SPAM (also known as unsolicited commercial e-mail). Each incoming e-mail is scanned for signs that it may be SPAM, and if it is determined that it's likely to be SPAM, it is altered to clearly reflect this, so that you — the user — can decide whether to delete or keep it.

When did my ISP become mccarthy.net? This filter is pure evil.

This just proves one of my theories: your ISP reads everything you load.
Just remember that, boys and girls, next time you surf for porn.

Chris -
Like we discussed at the PCUGR Meeting — if your ISP is decent, they will give you every opportunity to configure SpamAssassin to meet your needs. Just add the following, or ask them to add the following to their SpamAssassin config file:
whitelist_from *@lockergnome.com
Yes, I realize that this provides an additional troubleshooting step for you and the lockergnome team, but SpamAssassin is the best spam filter that I have ever used, and I don't like to see it pissed upon.
My 2 cents.
-Jeff

Love ya, Jeff – but you're one in a million. ;) I've gone around and around and around and around with many an ISP – trying to convince them that Lockergnome isn't spam. Some don't have your heart, but they should.

Not quite McCarthy.net. The filter is probably not pure evil, probably a lot less evil than cookies. I doubt whether anyone reads the email, scanning is not reading.

Worrying about “The “SPAM thang” has bcome a national illness. Of course these same people who are worrying themselves sick over “spam”, receive hard-copy spam in their
USPO boxes EVERY DAY, but have neglected to file suit with the USPO and/or sender, for delivering “spam” flyers/catalogs to their physical mailbox.
Can you imagine these fools contacting LAW ENFORCEMENT
because Sears, Michael Dell, Home Depot, etc/ad infinum, sent a flyer to their (physical) mail box??
Where are you people's brains?
Where are you people's brains?
Where are you people's brains?
As of yet, I cannot get a consistent/legal definition from anyone, of what “spam” is. I get all kinds of email from people I don't know, and by TAKING CHARGE of my own life, I open a lot of them if they pique my curiosity.
If it's an obvious ad that I don't want to read, I (gulp)…….
(I can't hardly get the words out)….. I…I….I….
DON”T OPEN IT AND READ IT!!!! There; I said it.
Some of the best info I have ever received has been from
“unsolicited” email, which I have no fear of opening due to
my anti-virus programs.(Yes, I know you geeks and nerds
reading this will start shooting every worm you have in your arsenal at me, but that's OK. I image my COMPLETE HDD -daily-, and have copies OFF my computer on CD).
It is TOO BAD that you anti-spam-ites can't see that every time you register a “spam” complaint, you are HELPING to further the already all pervasive POLICE STATE that is being set up in America and world wide for that matter.
(One is reminded of the ASININE outfit calling theselves
“SPAM WARDEN”.
Go their site and you see a SILLY picture of some poor guy
with his hands cuffed behind his back, presumbably because
he “SPAMMED”???????? GIVE ME A BREAK!
I venture that SPAM WARDEN will mess with the wrong cat one day, and possibly wind up WEARING THE CUFFS themselves.
Will you be happy when THE CONTROLLERS pass de facto “laws” to haul you to “world court” at the Hague,Netherlands, for sending some jerk an email that he did not “solicit”?
What in the HELL ever happened to free enterprise?
(NO!….. I DO NOT have any kind of internet business, and do
NOT send emails soliciting business, but the people who do it
certainly have that right under the 1st Ammendment).
Several weeks ago, I did an internet search on “spam” legislation and learned that there is NO bill that has been made POSITIVE LAW, against sending an email.
There CANNOT BE, if the WHORES in congress vote on one.
It would be NULL AND VOID on its face, DUE TO CONFLICT with the FIRST AMMENDMENT.
Of course I keep forgetting that 99.75% of you have NEVER READ the 1st Ammendment, or ANY OTHER PART OF THE
CONSTITUTION. You are happy to squeeze by every day, accepting WORD OF MOUTH “LAW”, which is being foisted on that GREAT WHORE known as the “Public”, on a daily basis.
You will keep screaming to the de facto corporate “government” to protect you from the dirty “spammers”, and anything else that comes up in your life. All the while, you are helping to bring on the Bolshevik
POLICE STATE that is already operating under yer NOSE.
You are wearing your computer chair SEATBELT, aren't you BUNKY? Nice Sam doesn't want you falling out while you're filing another complaint with “SPAM WARDEN”.
“SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.”SPAM WARDEN”.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !
Have a nice day.
Free Spammer

Addendum:
I did, finally, find a definition of “spam”.
Spam (spam) trademark for a kind of canned luncheon meat made from pieces of seasoned pork and ham pressed into a loaf
(C)1995 Zane Publishing, Inc. (C)1994, 1991, 1988 Simon & Schuster, Inc.

Addendum to the addendum:
Don't forget;
All the little filters that the ISP people are installing, will be set up eventually to filter out words and phrases like “dirty white boy”, “cracker”, “jew”, “nigger”, “spic”, Catholic, Baptist,
Hindu, Muslim, Asian,……………..ad infinum.
In the NEW WORLD ORDER (which you people keep BEGGING for, there will be no RELIGION,RACE, and ESPECIALLY *individuality*. ALL IS ONE? It's on the back of the “dollar” bill in latin. OUT OF MANY; ONE!

Hey, Anonymous

When the “hardcopy” junk mail shows up in my mail box with “postage due”, your analogy will be appropriate.

What Do You Think?
