iTarded
I was trying to figure out why my iPhone was automatically resizing an image to 640×480 when sending it through email… but that’s a feature, not a bug, according to Mobileburn:
The user has no ability to choose the photo resolution or set a white balance mode. Nothing. In fact, when an image from the camera is emailed to somebody with the Mail application, the resolution is automatically reduced to VGA (640×480 pixels). You have no control over that, either.
Pardon me, but that’s just iTarded. At least my first photo went off without a hitch. I asked everyone in chat to smile and say cheeeeeeeeeeese:

It’s one thing to complain about the slow 2G connection, it’s another thing to complain about a feature that helps you cope with that slow data service.
The iPhone is not targeted at computer nerds, it is targeted at consumers.
The iPhone N, the model targeting nerds, will be out shortly. It has a bare bones Linux OS and support for all the major programing languages for rolling your own software. It’s $350 and there is no contract or carrier. It’ll take about 10,000 man hours to get it to work, but it will work your way. You’ll just love it.

That’s what happens when you have to own something the first month it comes out. I will wait six months, until some of these problems have been fixed. The price should drop by then, also.
