Here in the UK ISPs are including protection when you subscribe to their full broadband package. In the case of virgin it is called PC guard and it includes antivirus, anti-spyware, firewall, parental control, identity theft protection, pop-up blocker, privacy manager, could you get any better than that for free, I don’t think so. it’s the second thing I do after a fresh install, works for me :-) hello from over the pond.

I don’t use any AV program, since it slows down my pc. I tried norton system works for a while but it crashed my machine soo bad.

Thank you for asking this question LifeJustIs2007. I have always wondered my self this question and I never really bothered to ask. I think I may have not done this on one of my reformats and I had many problems after installing SP2 on XP.
