Is Physics Fun?

We’ve talked about cool Physics-type utilities that are fun, such as OE Cake. Did you even realize how much fun Physics can be? There’s a new application that takes fun with Physics to a whole new level. This week during our GoToMeeting, one of the chatters decided to show off Fantastic Contraption.
Fantastic Contraption allows you to use axles and motion to make things go and reach different levels. Use the different tools to connect various parts, and make the pink ball get pushed into the pink victory zone. There are elements such as water tubes, forward and backward-rotating balls, and even wooden dowel-type rods.
Build a design using these components and then click the Start button to see if what you came up with will work. If it doesn’t, just delete whatever component you feel is the problem, and add something new! You can do this as many times as you need to in order to make your contraption go where it should.
You can literally spend hours on a level of this game, just creating the perfect contraption. It’s very cool to let your mind wander as you create, and then see the results of that when you pass a level. The game will help you to learn and understand more about physics, while having a great time. What more can you ask for?

Of course physics fun. Physics is awesome. In fact, I wrote an analysis of the physics in fantastic contraption:

That is my first post, I have several more:
