I’m having the same problem!! Last night I clicked to download a newer iTunes version or something and then it said there was a problem with my iPhone and i had to completely reset the settings, which would delete everything! I need help! What do i do? If it deletes everything off my iPhone, does that mean everything will be deleted out of iTunes too? Please help me!

I don’t know if it the right place to ask this but I have a problem with my Iphone. A few minute ago I have just downloaded a new of the iphone .The problem is that I live in argentina and my iphone is the one that is sell in the ee.uu. so it’s ilegal and now the iphone is blocked because the itune ask me to form part of that compañy call “at & t “.
I would be very glad if you just answer me.

i turned off auto brightness and auto lock (as well as, home button ipod controls and phone favorites) and so far safari is not crashing and no app freezes.

hopefully apple won’t let this iphone thing go on too long, or else it’s just like the window world — all the good, bad, and ugly that comes of that.

i´have a problem i´ve restore mi iphone 8GB to 2.1 and itunes shows i have 6.02GB, i´ve looked and there no quote on this problem on any page, please help thanks

I just got a 3g and it works find except for when I upgrade to 2.0.2. I instal some app but it did not work. so I try to sync it with itune and after that it works fined. Never have any problem.some of you just need to know how to us electronics. not saying that you all are stupid or some but you have to try to work it out instead of restoring all the time.this will not solve all problems. Will good luck syncing in and have fun with your gedgets.

yeah, I’m also having the same problem!! it’s very annoying!!
After I bought so many apple product like ipod video, ipod nano and iphone, when I sync to itunes it sometimes hang!! Now I realize that Apple really SUCKS!! I’ll never buy their product again!!

I have the same type of problems. AND, it’s on the pre-installed apps. Apple is still saying THE SAME THING. Do a re-stall. OR, while still under Apple’s Warranty, pay $29.00 for s&h to get a new iPhone that works better. OR, pay $69 and extend the warranty an additional year and Apple will replace your iPhone.
Wow!!! Apple is starting to sound like .. ???? … well, not Apple. Pay Apple to correct their problems. First time I have ever been disappointed with Mr. Jobs.

I’ve that problem on my iTouch. Luckily I’m a Hacker so I know a few things about the iPhone firmware. All of Apples firmwares have had two partitions the partition used for media and the partition used for the OS and Apps. The current partition size is 500MB which explains the to many Apps explanation The way to fix this issue is to jailbreak using winpwn or pwnage tool. I’ve used winpwn I’m not sure about pwnage tool. During the jailbreak process winpwn will ask if you want to resize the partition say yes, and continue. By the way if you are using att or iTouch say no to activation and youtube fix.

I’m having these exact issues…backups aren’t backing up either – after taking 4 hours to complete – they’re not there after the iphone crashes. Have had to restore the iphone EVERY day from scratch for the past 5 straight days. UGHHHHH…Apple is turning into Microsoft, way in over their heads with this release and rushed this to market.

Supposedly this wasn’t happening on 2.0…should allow a retrograde..

Back to basics guys:
1 Remove everything. Get the phone back to pristine freshness.
2 Now use the phone as just a phone for a while.
3 If all is well add one app and go on your way.
Repeat step 3 until something goes awry.
There’s your problem.

Sorry to hear about all your woes, but the iPhone is still a mile ahead of anyone else for satisfaction, it’s just not very comforting to know that when your phone craps out.
Not even Apple can do this 100%.

I have the exact same problem! None of my third part apps work. I’ve done a complete resync with Itunes to no avail. Cmon Apple this is not good for business. My phone bricks twice a day too. Not to mention a ton of dropped calls all the time. My daughter with her AT&T razor wiil be at full strenght in the same are of the house where I have no signal at all.
