I figured this much storage would allow me to replace my iPod at the same time and have plenty of room left over for apps. Every time a hardware upgrade came out and there wasn't a 32GB model, I cursed Apple for making me wait. Now, I thank them. I have the 32GB I want, and a product so fast and slick that it feels zippy even without having had a slower model to compare it to. From my experience, battery life is pretty good as long as I'm not using 3G very much. Using 3G, on the other hand, I feel like I can literally see my battery indicator shrinking. Speaking of battery life, I wonder what kind of external pack you're using. I've looked into the Griffin and Kensington ones, and am currently leaning toward the Griffin as a possible future purchase. In my opinion, this is probably the biggest achievement. Maybe I'm tainted by the recent flood of phone videos from Iran...
