I've tested the the iPhone 3GS EVERYDAY for 2 months and so far, the review is just not good.

What is good? Eye Candy and and touch screen and lots of free Apps. That's it. Ends there.

The BAD? It is PUKE to me.

1.) Typing sucks. I find myself taking a lot longer to type due to all the frigging spelling mistakes with the touch screen.
2.) WiFi-sensing is not that responsive. Blackberry 9700 does a better job to auto-sense and switch to/from wi-fi easily.
3.) No multitasking. Blackberry does.
4.) No Flash.
5.) Still crashes from the apps downloaded from the App Store.
6.) Battery drains REALLY FAST. I had it fully charged at 9am and it was drained completely by 2pm just making 3 calls at about 5 mins each, checking Exchange emails, hotmail, gmail, yahoo, and SMS. What a piece of crap this iphone turns out. Not very practical.

In summary, what is practical...you are better off with a Blackberry Curve series. Blackberry Curve and Bold series has longer battery life, multitasking (yahoo messenger, hotmail messenger, gtalk messenger and facebook at the same time), PIN messaging (which is excellent for backup communication), and better wifi toggling.

Since both iPhone and Blackberry do not support Flash, and iPhone has lousy battery life, you are better off with a Blackberry device from 8am till 10am and the battery is only down to 50 - 65% everyday use. Actually my Blackberry 9700 lasted 2 days of everyday use without having to recharge!

iPhone feels like brick, IS a brick and a waste of money.

I've been holding out for the new model for years, simply because I wanted 32GB. I figured this much storage would allow me to replace my iPod at the same time and have plenty of room left over for apps. Every time a hardware upgrade came out and there wasn't a 32GB model, I cursed Apple for making me wait.

Now, I thank them. I have the 32GB I want, and a product so fast and slick that it feels zippy even without having had a slower model to compare it to.

From my experience, battery life is pretty good as long as I'm not using 3G very much. Using 3G, on the other hand, I feel like I can literally see my battery indicator shrinking.

Speaking of battery life, I wonder what kind of external pack you're using. I've looked into the Griffin and Kensington ones, and am currently leaning toward the Griffin as a possible future purchase.

I'm glad that you are praising the new iPhone Chris, because I was quite disappointed with Leo Laporte and other tech gurus who did not praise the 3GS for making video sharing the easiest of its kind.

In my opinion, this is probably the biggest achievement. Maybe I'm tainted by the recent flood of phone videos from Iran...
