I uploaded this short video directly from my new iPhone 3G S. I think the quality is very good, considering this was compressed and passed directly across AT&T’s 3G network while I was driving down the road! It took about five minutes to upload (and longer than that for YouTube to process).

My car’s name is Vader, just so you know. It’s black, just like my iPhone! Yes, the blue Mustang that passed me during the video is an extremely “hot” car (according to Kat, anyway).

Do you have the iPhone 3G S yet? Have you uploaded videos with it? What have your experiences been like? Let me hear from you… I’m interested in hearing how things are working for others. I’m happy. I’m in love with my new iPhone!

I also got a 3G S. Very impressed with the camera. I was also very, very impressed with the audio quality as well. Overall, very good a/v upgrades.

Hey Chris, my new 3GS is actually my first iPhone. I’m extremely impressed with it although I do miss a few little things from my HTC Touch Pro.

I’ve been using Pixelpipe as an uploader for all my pictures and video because I think (?) this method sends the original, uncompressed version of the file. I’ve yet to try the direct upload to YouTube.

We’ve certainly come a long way in world of moblogs! :-)

I wanted to see what the new iPhone camera was capable of, so I took the subway in L.A. – yes, we have one! – and took some photos and video of the crowds paying tribute to Michael Jackson in Hollywood.

I put the photos and video into iMovie and in about 15 minutes I had this:

I think the video clips look great!

hey i got an apple iphone 3gs, ive recorded a few videos now to test out the phone camera, quality is good but upload time to youtube is horrible!!!! im currently uploading a video of the canada day fireworks in my city which is a 7 min video and the upload time shows 76 min, the iphone wont let me email the video unless i trim and i don’t want to cut anything off, ive tryed both wifi and 3g, for 1 to 3 min video this is awesome but truely useless if your videos are longer, maybe hope that apple will update the compression to help with uploads to youtube, untill then it remains a fancy future with little purpose

I tried emailing a video to my Blip and Facebook email addresses, essentially uploading them, to my blog via blip’s autocross posting and Facebook.

iPhone say’s the video is too long. Its about a minute and 10 seconds, just slightly longer than yours here Chris.

I’m not sure if this is a restriction, or if anyone can tell me how I can email larger length videos. Typically up to 3 minutes, not longer?

Thanks

I tried to email a video to my Blip.tv and Facebook emails, essentially uploading them, but at 1:10sec I got a video too long error.

Anyone know how I can email up to videos 3 minutes long?

I am so frustrated, trying to upload a video from my iphone into my WordPress blog. I am an elderblogger and nowhere near a techie. I was able to upload the video onto Facebook. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any suggestions???
