Brent Simmons designed what is arguably the first elegant newsreader, NetNewsWire, back in 2002 for the Mac OS X platform. Version 2.0 released last week with support for podcasting, feed searches and a number of other major enhancements. Brent is a local Seattleite, a former developer of Radio Userland and an avid science fiction fan.
