If you’re looking for a free alternative to programs such as Nero or Roxio, look no further than InfraRecorder. As Warren demonstrates in this screencast, InfraRecroder is a powerful – and FREE – CD and DVD-burning tool! You, too, can have your screencast appear in our channels.
InfraRecorder will not only burn CDs and DVDs for you, it can also create disk images quickly and easily. When you first open the program, you’ll be presented with several options. You can burn a data, audio or video disc. You can create an image disc such as with burning an .iso image. Or, you can copy or read an existing disc.
To keep this screencast short, Warren chose to simply burn a data disc. The interface is very clean and easy-to-use. Drag and drop your content into the proper pane, and organize it to your liking.
In the middle of the project, you may see that you have too much information to place on a CD. With InfraRecorder, you don’t have to start over. You can change your project at any time, and adjust it accordingly. Once you’re ready, just click the button at the top. Your disc will be ready in moments.
InfraRecorder has all of the features and tools that you’d expect to find in a paid version of a similar product. However, you won’t find the bloat and bells that you don’t want.
