In a Haystack
Ugh… I spent half of today in bed. We were dark, anyway. Still, it was difficult to find motivation to do anything other than hit my mental snooze button. Gretchen's gone now, I've eaten dinner (sashimi delivery), and Sprocket is being forced to settle in for the evening. He was outside barking at nothing for longer than two minutes. That, in my book, is two minutes too long. I stayed awake long enough to walk down the street for my first acupuncture session. Yeah, I realize the irony – but it wasn't even close to being painful. In fact, I left the center feeling relaxed. It's like the sensation of being light-headed, without actually being light-headed. Diagnosis: lay off the caffeine. Teccino, where are you?!

Chris,
Sleeping is very healing. Sometimes ya just gotta be in lounge mode. Don't shave, order take-out, wear pijamas all day, watch TV, read, sleep, repeat. It'l do wonders for ya! Thom

I have been lazy now for the past 3 or 4 days. Not sure why or whats going on but I'm in one of those stages where I don't want to work overly hard but yet just sit around.
I'm probably due for a vacation, its been 9 months since my last one during Christmas, but even then I can't go without wanting to work on something.
It's like that commercial on TechTV with the guy not wanting to take a vacation on a cruise or beach because thats work and he loves his job more.

Doesn't Peets make a decaf blend, or is it just not the same? I'm supposed to lay off the caffeine too because of a heart problem last year coupled with job stress. I still have to have that one cup in the morning on my drive (35 miles) into work so I don't rear-end anybody during a snooze. We don't have Peets here, only Starbucks and Panera. Of course there's Dunkin' Donuts coffee (yuk). Keep well. Your health is worth more than anything else.
