Impersonal Personality
I get hundreds of “help” requests every week – especially to my TechTV account. I read them all, but instead of sending separate replies, I usually wait until I have about 500 messages cached. Then, I blast out a general response. Here's a snippet of what I sent this time around: Despite yesterday's overly-caffeinated “sports” show, I'll be returning to the studio on Monday to pump out another hour of technophun – technology information for both technophobes and technophiles. It's my new sniglet.
For all the Questions we can't get to; unofficial download for Microsoft Talk It: Trans2k CFH skin: Crash Test Dummies MP3s (from Jeremy Segal): Nintendo Game MP3s (from Clint Carr & Neptune).
Well, the new issue of CPU magazine just arrived on my doorstep. Pardon me while I step away from the computer for another two hours (to read it cover-to-cover). Hopefully, those links will keep you entertained for at least that long. Plus, I just got a message from Meryl which says: “Oh crap! That was for CHRISTINE! So sorry, Chris!” It's bad enough she outranks me on Google… now I'm getting her e-mail. And the band played on (as the helicopters whirred).

Oh my. Can't stop laughing. Too damn funny, seriously. Trust me, I bet in the end she would have preferred talking to you over me. Really. Yes, I bet “Pixelwannabe” and “Lockergnome” look almost identical on that ICQ list. *grin*

Hey, that's one drawback about being “Meryl,” I can't get someone else's email…
<meryl thanks her lucky stars she send 'gnomie' something embarrassing>
