I wasn’t aware that the voting system involved paper and filling in circles. I assumed it was all electronic. I didn’t vote because I’m not of legal age yet, but if I was, I would have voted for Obama.

I voted via absentee ballot, early on, without wait. Those who don’t vote, can’t bitch if their elected officials fail to perform their duties: writing to them is useless if it is noted that you’re a nonvoter; however, on the database of voters, it is recorded as to whether a given constituent has voted, and you generally are more likely to be heard, as your potential voice determines their stay in office. Just a little note.

I did the paper ballot too here in the rural city of Weymouth, MA, but then again that’s all we have.

Although, we fill in those circles, we do have to insert them in to a counting machine. It’s still electronic and all I can worry about is my vote being missed by a computer glitch.

Hopefully all is counted. 8^)
