So sorry about this whole thing.I read your blog last night and i thought maybe its a late april fools joke.It was so sudden.I watched the show yesterday and it seems like u didn't know it would be your last day.
But i guess thats life.Wishing u happiness and success in your future endeavours.
CFH will never be the same.

Glad to hear that you're alive and will try to be patient for the whole story. CFH was removed from my Tivo's timers today. Instead that hour will be dedicated to reading Lockergnome.

Hey Chris, sorry to see you go. When I first started watching CFH, I thought you were goofy, and I didn't watch much. However, I kept on watching, and you grew on me. The chemistry between you, Roger, and Cat was phenomenol. Oh well. Things like this usually happen to the shows I love. I start watching, they either get cancelled or change. Man. Getting laid off feels like being shot in the chest (I should know — happened to me two weeks ago). Getting let go from a TV show has got to feel far worse. However, the great thing to keep in mind is that… well… you're Chris Pirillo, and chances are there are other better opportunities waiting with clenched fists for the business day to start again so they can come knocking. Well, even though there is no Chris, I won't take out CFH from my VCR (wanna-be PVR). It was such an orignial show. But, there will be this skinny, wacky geek that will be missing. I really don't want it to go off the air and have puppets and robots take over. Let's have a real interactive show. Not 50 year old dolls or 3 year old re-runs of another canceled show. What's with Leo's comments tonight about the “I Hate My Job Emails” on tonights Call For Help during the packet sniffer segment and Leo proclaims these must be Chris's emails.

As I watched Call for Help today, I missed Chris P being on there, but I will move on. Leo is a great person and does a great job on TechTV. I am not going to hate TechTV because they no longer have a talented person working for them. TechTV is still my favorite network to watch and my fansite, TechTV Central is here to stay.

I couldn't believe the news this morning. I feel like i lost a friend. If I had a tech show, you could host it Chris. If I can help out in any way E-mail me. Later.

I watched (sortof) CFH today and was it BORING! Without Chris' quirky sense of humor, CFH is not the same anymore. I doubt I'll tune in too much anymore. I got better things to do like watching CNN and FoxNews. :)

Chris, You will be missed. Here is my take on it:
Oh great!
Now TTV will be the All LEO all the Time station, or better still All Ego All The Time.
While Leo is very helpful, I find his Ego to be a bit too big. Even his co-presenters seem to have problems with it (note the looks on their faces after he goes off on a tangent or steals their bit).
That coupled with his highly vocal support for theft and piracy (MP3 and the like). Make it hard to watch the shows sometimes.
My theory is Leo wanted a raise or Funds are tight, and Chris went bye-bye to to keep Leo happy in the $$ Department. Perhaps paycuts at TechTV? Hence the also very expanded Gaming Show, which is no doubt very cheap to make.
Well whatever the reason, TechTv is still the only 'show' in town and is worthy of continued support. I also have looked past the things I said earlier and enjoy the shows.

Chris P. was a bright spot in a daytime line-up of a drab, dull mixture of dated sci-documentary, British reruns and marionettes. His goofy charm, over-caffeinated personality and technological expertise were enjoyed in our home at least once a day. We would laugh and learn along with Roger and Cat. :) I can no longer justify the added cost of my Mediacom Digital cable package. Leo Is the best emcee in his field and he stepped right back in CFH like he had never left. Can Leo be TechTV's Regis?
It's their loss…and ours. I'm going to redouble my efforts to attend Gnomedex! 4 months till Gnomedex times $40 in digital cable savings = $160 for travel cost and room.

Hey guys – I noticed something. Something that in the history of the channel has never happened to this degree so fast:
There are a lot of bloggers and TechTV fan websites that, over Chris' leaving/booting/whatever have taken down their links to TechTV and pulling their support of the channel. Not to mention quite a few people that have satellite and other premium cable services just for TechTV that are cancelling their service.
The support for Chris has been overwhelming and clearly by TechTV management unanticipated.
Anyways, just curious how many Lockergnomies are not going to watch the station anymore? Not that Chris would ever ask but I've seen all the comments and people are PO'd over this. So how many won't support, link to or watch TechTV now?

Okay – so I like Leo, and did miss him when Chris took over… BUT – Chris – you made it more of a show to watch for more than just learning. You made it entertaining, and fun to watch. Leo's full of help, and a lot of fun, but he's just not the host you were for the way the show is formatted now. I really hope it was some kind of mutual decision, or your choice and not theirs. I'll miss moments like you losing it during the “call-a-thon.” You brought energy and excitement, and yeah – goofiness – to the show!

Seriously, like many of you yesterday, I felt like someone close to me had just died and I was in a state of denial. Chris was awesome, and for me, Chris IS CFH and I can never see it as anything but. I will definitely miss your personality on the tube. I know you won't reveal the truth…but somehow I feel that it had something to do with what your 3/30 blog…about cancelling digital cable because you don't watch TechTV…it's like having a pitchman for a product, but revealing that he does't use the product. I completely understand (TechTV isn't that useful in general, besides CFH), but maybe TPTB didn't.
Anyway, we could see it this way…no more questions about the best burning program and best video card…I was sick of those questions. We all know the answers to them already. At least Chris will no longer have to deal with the mundaness of it all.

I've seen some talk about town that it's good (what?!) that 'knowledge and experience' has replaced 'enthusiasm and fun' on CFH. Ridiculous. What's the point of knowledge and experience if it's as engaging as watching paint dry or bloated like the Hindenburg with self-importance? Ugh. I could go on but I digress.

Sorry to see you aren't with TechTV anymore. When Techtv came to Canada, people were excited, and the first program that I caught was CFH. When Leo filled in for you different times, it wasn't the same, it always lacked the Pirillo touch, and todays show certainly lacked, had no spark. Perhaps you should have wrote a book like Leo and promoted it every 2 minutes. In my opinion everyone who isn't happy should Write, (snail mail folks)not email the company and state their feelings on this, and ask for Chris to come back if he's willing. I'm going to be talking to some of the advertisers in Canada and ask them to do the same.

Dammit i'm just getting over it! i also know that there's some changes going on in TechTv regarding tv shows, for instance today on TSS i saw that Morgan is going to co-host Extended Play with Adam well with a diferent name though, Marty is having his own talk show, and they still haven't taken those dam stupid brit! shows.TechTv to me from mid 2001 through august 2002 was the best since the move from ZDTV anyway it's really disapointing that your not going to host the show, no offense Leo but Chris rocks! besides it's Techtv's loss for not having you host it!

Just remember Chris, you've brought to the show utmost sincerity, passion, enthusiasm, & humor in your work. I don't believe it can be matched.

The abruptness of your departure was a shock to the system. I can handle the sudden disappearance of a personÂ’s hair, when the whole person is missing it becomes unusual and suspicious. The imagination works overtime trying to make the pieces fit in this puzzle. I suspect some type of contract negotiation disagreement as the cause.
Other reasons for your leaving have crossed my mind. You might have wanted to get a shot at the help week prizes knowing employees aren't eligible. The honchos at TechTV are making Roger take over as host, thinking a toned down approach would draw more viewers. You were going to divulge the fact that LeoÂ’s hair _isnÂ’t_ his hair. You landed the lead part in the next Star Trek movie with Will Wheaton as supporting actor, so good-bye small screen. You won the lottery. Damn, there I go again. When and where you decide to divulge the real story, please drop a note in your blog. Keep kickinÂ’.

I'm in shock I think. I should be used to this sort of thing (as far as my fave tv shows go) If I love it, they take it off the air or change the host (WHICH WAS THE REASON I LOVED IT!) Bastards. *grumble* I wish you much much luck and good stuff.

Hey Chris, Stunned…I'm stunned and upset.I've been watching you for over a year waaaay up hear in Canada and because of you; your great tips and very up delivery of what can be sometimes very dry info, this house has gone from a single pc to 6 desktops, 3 laptops, a 'made from scratch' box as well as starting a multimedia svcd/dvd lab. I read you in CPU and watching you everyday has made you a 'member of the family'. I get the feeling that there's more to this story but regardless of what happens – all the best in life to you and Gretchen in whatever you do. Dude, this is a blessing in disguise. You R Chris Pirillo! Any Station would be lucky to have you. I live in the Philippines. I would use my own money to start up a technology show. There are a lot of TechnoGeeks here and you can teach and help them. There is no show here like CFH and all the host here suck. You can move this country forward in the ways of technology and help the people broaden their knowledge. I am one who has learned from you! WHEN I AM DONE WITH MY STUDIES, I WILL TRY TO PUT UP A PROGRAM ON PHILIPPINE TV and HOST JUST LIKE YOU AND MAYBE HAVE YOU AS A HOST. Chris, you made Call For Help what Leo could NEVER make it: Entertaining! Leo is a huge fake and it shows more and more every week. The nerve to say on his blog that you are a good friend of his and he'll miss you alot. Bullshit! Everyone knows he was the one that forced the PTB to fire you so he can get his show back.
