Thanks for the kind words everyone — It has been a good thing for me too, to be honest. No one wants to work for a company that doesn' have their back. The good news is, the site is up in rankings, which means more people are visiting. I have to say, as a writer by profession, it was cool to see first hand how much power the written word still has. Even on a weblog.

Unless there is slander involved, I am not convinced they can fire people for writing to a blog. I would be in court real fast if it was me.

I got fired for writing on my blog too. I wrote that I didn't like that my company filed for bankruptcy, so I got fired. It turned out to be one of the better things for me, as I have a decent job now and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for being fired, but it still sucks that I have to “cover up” issues with my previous employer. I'd rather not have to, but I do. If they ask, I'll tell them, but it's hard for employers to understand that you got fired for expressing yourself.
