Those crazy innovators. They're releasing a computer with a flat panel screen! This will, undoubtedly, change the industry – overnight! You may not believe this, but I just saw a few of my co-workers throw their computers right out the window. They're tired of two mouse buttons, a wealth of software, and lower prices. Sadly, my friends did this a little too soon. It was before Jobs announced that the new iMacs wouldn't be available immediately. Heh. You should see them now – scrambling in the street, trying to piece together their PCs so that they can finish their articles before 2PM.
To be fair to Macheads, I am a bit jealous of X's built-in multimedia authoring software. Windows XP was a step in the right direction, but Microsoft has yet to put together a UI worth crowing about. Wizard schmizard.

I'm with you, this just kills me. Gateway 2+ years ago came out with the Profile series – A flat panel all in one system. You don't suppose… Nah, Apple wouldn't take someone else idea, polish it, and call it new. Would they? (for answer see Xerox PERC)
Kills me that while everyone will beat Microsoft up about “innovation” but when Apple does the same thing they're geniuses…

It's PARC btw. Palo Alto Research Center. http://www.parc.xerox.com/parc-go.html
And Jobs admits he shamelessly steals. Just watch – http://www.pbs.org/nerds/
I'll be buying one regardless of who makes it. It's fast. It's wireless and it's a DVD studio for under 2 grand. After you burn the mouse and get an Intellimouse Explorer you're close to 2 grand though. Their DVD authoring products are really nice I must say.
