You DROVE in NYC? Trust me when I say, that the ONLY way to really get around NYC is via Public Transportation - AKA The Subway. 1 Day pass to use subways and busses unlimited in only 7 bucks! They also have a 7-day unlimited use pass for 21 bucks. it's definately worth it. since each way, the normal faire is 2.50, so it pays for itself in no time.

I just came back from a three-day trip to NYC on Friday, and as always, I had an absolutely amazing time. In fact, I saw Spamalot while I was there, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it! Seriously, it is totally worth the ticket price. The performances are great, and the content is absolutely hilarious.
In terms of a pastrami sandwich, you *have* to go to Carnegie Deli near 57 and 7th. It's basically right next to the Park Central hotel, which is where I stayed. Their meals are legendary, and it's fun to see the pictures of all the celebrities that have been there. From personal experience, I can honestly tell you that their pastrami sandwich will change your life. ;)
