I wasn't a biology major, but sure sounds like mutual exclusives to me. And really if you put aside the tantrums etc, it really comes down to 2 issues You either don't believe its life, or you don't believe its wrong to kill. Unfortunately it is only life for some when it is convenient, other times it is a burden. You don't owe the public any sort of information about your personal life, however...if you thought your girlfriend deserved better, why did you introduce her all of a sudden on national TV? Whether they have a right to do so or not, when the public sees someone who'd always spoken of being happily married suddenly introducing his girlfriend, they're going to be a little shocked.
