I have had this printer over a year. I general it is good. BUT it is terrible at printing envelopes. I have use HP Laser printers for ever. They have always handled envelopes well. This one jams on everything. And I think it is really a logic problem. The envelope is feeding and almost out, but stops and says a jam. 8.5″x11″ is fine just don’t waste you time trying to print envelopes.

I just bought the CM1312.
Pretty sweet.
Slower than some printers, but a lot faster than the one I replaced.
Scanned a 25 page document no problems… my old machine would screw up most times trying to scan that many.

I think this is a winner.

Oh, and it was on sale for $349
WOW!!
Color Laserjet MFP for $500 was a deal… 350 makes it sweeeeet!!!

I own an HP printer and I am more than satisfied with it.I would never change it except for something better.HP-very good company

Personally, I don’t use a printer nearly enough to justify the purchase of a halfway expensive one. Printers are the one category of computer peripherals that always seem to fail me. I have begun to hate them with a passion.

HP’s only good for printers… Their PC’s have problems… But their printers are great! I happen to have a Lexmark 3100, and a Lexmark 1400. The only thing I don’t like is the price of the ink. It prints well… if it has new ink. I’ve wanted a bluetooth printer so I can use my Mac with it. Yes, my 1400 will not work with anything on my Mac… But I have not yet tested my 3100 on my Mac, I need Drivers!! I wish I had a bluetooth printer because it would be so much faster and I could call it my own.

Now i got to tell you that HP seriously surprises me each year but yes HP printers sure are good and very trust worthy but i mean LaserJet Color printer? that is something amazing and which is great about is that it’s fast and also those memory cards slots and small lcd screen there to navigate and most important the quality suprised me by just doing it under a minute.

ink and toner is measure by 5% because a normal text page coverage is 5% black and 95% white.

I think that for color laser printers the standard is 20% coverage. More realistic.

Probably prerelease MSRP. I’d probably expect it to be a little over $300. And it’s an MFP. I’m pretty sure they have a color laserjet cp1210 for $299…

Laser Printer would be so cool, if they would not be all big and ugly. Actually Samsung has some cool products printers in a very nice design and they are very silent to.

HP Printers are great! I recently purchased an HP Photosmart C7200. It prints/scans/faxes and copies! It was really easy to set it up and get it printing wirelessly. So far I haven’t experienced any problems with it. HP rocks!

Wow that was amazing. the speed at which it printed that color picture is much faster than my printer. For $500, it’s a pretty good deal. Great review Chris.
