i didn’t even appreciate how many ways we collaborate with people via technology (besides my old fav the telephone). like the first comment mentioned…social networking has changed how we collaborate and sites like wikipedia and wetpaint have also added yet another dimension.

Very well written Mr. Rayl. You touched on a lot of good points that are really making an impact on today’s society. We have such amazing opportunities that our parents never had at our age. We can easily meet and talk to people anywhere in the world if we wanted to. In my opinion, it’s not all good, though. Manners and multi-cultural respect are being destroyed at a rapid rate via youtube comments. Jeez, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Anyways, very nice.

I loved reading it and I totally agree about the MMOs I play wow >,< and I find that with out the other players some of the aspects of the game would be nearly impossible 5/5

I use Yugma to hold online meetings with my clients. They have a free version that works for me but their paid packages are way cheap. No point in shelling out big bucks to software giants these days!

Well, this article was really terrific on two levels. It had a lot of information and I understood it! This is a big deal for a person like myself who has difficulty figuring out the remote and needs other people to set up her computer! Keep up the good work in educating us “tech-dummies”.
