Who needs Vista Ultimate to run DreamScene anymore?!?!?
I’ve heard of plenty of people who have gotten DreamScene set up on Vista Home Premium.

I love Compiz * what I have been able to learn in running it so far* and I LOVE Beryl, I would never, in a million years, even if BG gave me a setup running windoze, go back to microslave…….. linux rocks!

Full time user – three months now and in total love!!!

Chris,

To get the Ultimate Windows experience you need the ultimate computer, I thought you would have known that. It sounds to me like you don’t have the ultimate technical support service either that you should have got with your PC.

You may want to consider http://nerdsonsite.com for the closest experience you can have to the ultimate technical support.

I am “loving me some Linux; just as much as the next guy. And yeah, I have been full time for quite awhile now. But Beryl is not all peaches and cream. There are plenty of bugs with it, but then again, it is still very much still in Beta. :)

Ha… And are we surprised? No, not really…

I broke down today and decided to get a Mac again (my old G3 iBook broke a year ago, been Mac-less since). My 15″ MacBook Pro should be here in about a week. I can’t wait. I’ll still have my dual screen XP desktop as my main setup, but the laptop will help me to transition back into the Mac world. With options such as Parallels now, I should be able to run Windows programs that won’t work on the Mac and have the best of both worlds… I’ll let you know how it goes.
