I recently thought about downgrading from Vista as well, but I simply chose to dual boot with Fedora instead. I wonder into the Vista realm from time — but I try to steer clear as much as I can.

First thing I’d do, if you haven’t already, is to run an audio cable from the lineout of the box where you play the user questions into the linein of the box where you’re recording your show – the user questions are not as easy to hear as they could be.
