How to Share Files Between a Mac and a PC for Free

Of all the files on your hard drive, which ones do you want to share most with others? It’s easy to email a file, or upload them and share them that way. What if you want to keep directories in sync with each other? I have a suggestion for you!
Dropbox is a new way to sync, store and share your files online. You can earn up to 3GB of extra space on Dropbox for free. Every time you invite someone to Dropbox and they accept, you will both get an extra 250MB of free space.
If you have files on your drives that you want to share without sync’ing and uploading them, Dropbox allows it automatically. It’s cross-platform, so anyone can use it. We used Dropbox to share files with each other while we were working on organizing Gnomedex. It was such an easy and excellent way for us to get files to each other, and grab them whenever we needed to.
Once you join, you can create your own invite link. It’s good for 3GB extra, but hey! Storage is storage! You can share spreadsheets, documents, contracts, and even pictures. Instead of managing files via email, it’s easier to work amongst a team by using Dropbox. Using it cuts out the hassle of waiting, forwarding emails, re-attaching files constantly once they’ve been edited, and more.
Seriously, give Dropbox a try. What have you got to lose – other than your sanity?

Been using DB for over a year now and I’m a big fan. The ability to recover deleted files is my favorite feature!

I’ve been using DropBox for a year or two, and love it! Unlike it’s complicated rivals, DropBox is exactly what it says it is, a box aka folder to drop your files, photos, videos into. I don’t do the Company’s PR or social media relations, but refer them to everyone! Thanks for reviewing!
