Dear Mr. Pirillo,I came across your video on how to recover lost ipods, cameras, usb flash drives etc…! Just two days ago i lost my ipod touch in highschool. I’m a senior in the 12th grade. The incident took place in 2nd period and I told my teachers and administrators but they didn’t do anything about it, I feel really depressed everyday about this and I don’t have no where else to turn to but you. The ipod touch was given to me by someone special who got it for me for christmas and there is a special message engraved in the back of it, it really hurts deep down that my ipod is stolen or lost from me, because the writing on the back means alot to me its in memory of my brother, its the only thing i have as a memory. I would really appreaciate it if you helped me find the ipod touch, with the ihound software i have no clue how to use it and I’m in need of your assistance. perhaps you didn’t ask around and ours just came up lost and seeing that your username ends in “96″ you fit in the target “possibly swiped it group”. Be careful because it is registered and I can and will track it. Funny that you are also using a computer that is widely used by this target group at the target school. What a “corinkydink”!

I’d be careful. If the device’s ID was registered, it can still be tracked. Take ‘er to an Apple store and see if there’s a user connected with it.

What if we found an ipod touch (4th gen) and no one claimed it so we kept it for ourselves? When we get to the usb arrow and itunes logo on the iPod the computer (macbook pro) says the server can’t be reached.

…there SERIOUSLY needs to be something like this compatible with a zune.

I had my zune stolen at school…And i’ve narrowed down to about 10 kids it could be using school cameras. Is there ANYTHING i can do, besides using someone else’s without searching for them with wireless?(my zune wireless was off…)

I think this is pretty cool. I actually have lost my iPod touch and I have no clue where it is located. I have the serial number and the iPod touch has been gone for two weeks. I do not have this software on the iPod touch.

IT SUCKS!!! I bought a cell phone off of someone and they tell me the esn is good, but i stupidly didnt check. they wont answer their phone. it was a slutty girl too!!! she reeked of smoke and looks like a prostitute or those b1tches who work for those sugardaddys. cant believe i fell for it…… sighhhhh… gosh. i dont know what to do.

i had my ipod stolen just an hour ago. is there any possible way to get it back plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…… suggets me if any one know guys. it was second generation apple’s shuffle ipod. waiting for reply.

Those are very useful tools.

I also used another site to search the main auciton sites when looking for my stolen stuff in case the theives were trying to sell them quickly. I actually found them on ebay and the police recommended I try and win the auction to get them back as otherwise they’d be uncoverable.

wow. this will be very very useful! I had my iPod stolen a few years ago and it was gone never to be seen again. and i was devastated and i had to buy a brand new one…i just signed up for this and put it on my iPod, Thumb Drive, and my cell. this is amazing technology and will benefit many! Thanks for sharing this. i signed up my parents and sis to and put on all there stuff!!

This should come with flash drives and iPods, I cant count how many times I’ve heard about people getting there portable memory devices getting stolen and never getting them back

What another great idea! I think I will probably put thins on my iPod. But do you reckon I could put this on my computer? As some kind of mountable virtual drive?
