How to Make a Miniature Effect in Digital Photos

I’ve asked you to pass along any cool resources that you might find, as I may not have heard of them. Matt sent one that allows you manipulate your photos to make objects in them appear to be miniature. By uploading your pictures to TiltShift Maker, you can easily apply miniature effects to most of your digital photos.
Tilt-shift miniature style photos are pictures of real-life scenes that are manipulated to look like model photographs. Now you can easily transform your existing digital camera photos into tilt-shift style miniatures using TiltShift Maker.
You don’t have to register for an account, and the service is free. Keep in mind that some photos will work better than others, depending on what is in the pictures and how they were taken. Your best bet if you’re not familiar with Tilt-Shift Photography is to just play around with several photos, until you get the hang of what works – and what doesn’t.
After I uploaded my first picture, it showed my original photo, along with the miniature preview. I can then give it a focus size, in order to tell the program what I want to place more focus on. You can also enhance the colors, along with a few other effects. Once you have the picture set the way you want it in the preview pane, simply save it to your computer.
If you have any other cool web service or apps that you want to pass along, make sure you send them to me. I can’t try them out and shout them out if you don’t!
