How to Find Streaming Movies on Netflix

If you don’t have a Netflix account already, you’re missing out. You can watch Netflix movies on demand on your computer. But it’s challenging finding out what’s available on demand. I was asking a friend of mine about this the other day, thinking there has to be a better way to find out what’s out there to watch. She suggested checking out Instant Watcher.
Instant Watcher is Netflix for impatient people – like me! I want what I want – when I want it! I know many of you are the same way. Let’s face it… we’re busy. When we do have time to sit and relax with a movie, we don’t want to spend half that time searching for something to watch! Instant Watcher makes this task much easier to accomplish.
You can search through what’s available in a few different ways: by Genre, by actor / actress name, new releases, expiring releases, and even best / worst as rated by others just like you! This site takes the guess work out of what movies you can choose from, and puts it all into easy categories for you to quickly find what you’re looking for.
This is an amazing little service. Why Netflix hasn’t done this themselves is beyond me. It’s something that makes it a heck of a lot simpler, for sure. Be sure to check out the savings we have for you on Netflix!

Netflix does let you see what’s available on demand by genre, newest releases, top 50, etc. It’s not as flexible a search as it could be, though. Thanks for the tip!

Hey Chris,
Have you ever checked out VUDU for movies? I own one and I really like it. I tried my friends Xbox for streaming Netflix movies and I didn’t like the quality as much as I do on the VUDU Box.
Instant Watch is definitely a cool site though. I wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix copies the idea and it quickly shows up as part of their site very soon. Hopefully the developer gets something for his work.

My guess is that Netflix is focused on delivery – titles in the Watch Instantly catalog, deals with set top boxes, etc. – and discovery takes a back seat.
