Nice find, very helpful.

You can also just use word or even pages to export to PDF. But this is helpful taking it out of PDF form. I tried this out, but found that it only creates a .doc that contains page IMAGES from the PDF, not editable text. :(I wonder if the fact I'm using Open Office Writer instead of Word has any effect? I don't see how it would, as the .doc format should appear the same in both applications, right?

Thanks, Chris! In the case of PDF to word is tricky because sometimes what it does is creates images of the text....Hope it helps.Eric

You can also check <a

Not only is the program free for download but it is smaller than Adobe and more features! There are Foxit Editors that lets you edit PDF files without any conversion! I saw it was great when the Foxit reader offers tabs like you see on your browser. But when I discovered the editor, I was just blown away! After I discovered Foxit, I never went back to Adobe. Be sure to check out Foxit (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/) for other PDF programs :)

Thanks for sharing those links with me, those will sure come in handy when it comes to converting files later on.

For PDF reader…I was a fan of Adobe until I found Foxit Software.
