  1. Man, I don’t know how old this young dude (Matt) is…

But you’re presentation, verbiage, composure on tape (air) is extremely advanced….
believe me I’ve done some radio & tv work and you’ve got a great future in that direction if you should chose.

    Very impressed!

    ps; the utility is good

  2. I tried to convert a ‘mov’ file to ‘mp4’. Though the conversion took place only the first frame played in my VLC player and then shut down !?!

  3. Beware of version 2.30 of Format Factory.. Without your permission the program hijacks your browsers home page, installs Ask toolbar and changes my search settings from goggle to ask.com.

  4. Yeah, I’m not liking it at all how it changes my home page and search settings EVERY TIME I open the app. I change the settings back in the browser, and it happens again the next time I open Format Factory. That’s pretty screwed up. I’d rather pay something for the app if they’d just make it quit doing that crap. That’s stooping pretty low. Is there a hacked version of it anywhere that doesn’t do this?

  5. Hi I haev a problem with format Factory and have searched everywhere but did not find anyone with the same problem.

When I’m converting MKV and/or other HD formats, the source file is not fully recognized by FF. For instance, the source file is 7.9Gb, but when I select it, FF only reads 4Gb. Or when a file is 1.9Gb, FF only reads 300Mb. What could be the problem?

I’ve looked everywhere and could not find any answers…
    Thanks!

  7. I am having the same problem, only one second of video converted, plus it changed my browser to Ask. I would pay for a converter, but I dont want to have my computer settings mucked about with and want more than one second converted.
