Hey, I think I have the opposite problem!

When I was younger in my early teens I could literally play for hours on end, with my eyes throbbing before I finally went to sleep. Those were the good days…

Now im in my early 20s and I have all the games I ever dreamed of on my 360, but seriously no time/motivation to play them. With a full-time job, university, gf, gym etc it seems almost impossible to spend an hour alone with my console, and when I do it makes me feel almost guilty.

And when I do turn-on my system, the maximum time I can play is 1-2 hours…I just get bored afterwords. Am I getting tired or too old for video games or is the shock factor just not ‘wowing’ me anymore to continue playing them?

Honestly, I think its great that I don’t play that much anymore, but I really miss it. I really want to beat all my games- Mass Effect, Fallout 3, BioShock, DeadSpace, Halo Wars, Lost Odyssy, Midnight Club, Halo 3 but have no motivation/ routine. I tend to play too many games at once, without ever finishing one. Anyone advice?

I think this is garbage I’m a 12 level elf who play’s video games for 14 hours every day and I’ve never had any problems with my hobby.

Nice tips. You can’t just blame it to games, there are several media that can be addictive, there’s TV, music and real drugs (which the society hasn’t eliminated successfully). Sad thing the game is played the other way around. It was supposed to entertain you during your free time but it turned out it’s becoming a problem for some. Keep enjoying the game, but live a real life ^^

HAHAHA wtf, he was completely right… I was watching the video with COD4 in the background, the main menu open and the soundtrack just looping.

Yeah, I’m pretty much addicted. That was funny as shit though. I literally laughed out loud.

i confess i’m addicted with hack’n slash games (ninja gaiden , god of war, devil may cry…)
but it’s not a big problem ….i have many friends! I just spend my free time playing only video games.
