Monmouth Oregon, 4.19 per gallon and actually stayed the same price for 2 days!

My brother was commenting about other goverments placing caps and funding fuel for the public. Cost some anywhere from $.25 cents per gallon to $1.50 per gallon.

Stop feeding other countries that wont take care of their own, Stop babying the people in prisions and enabling the illegal immigrants and assist your fellow countrymen that make this country and economy work!

Currently near me $4.05 but as high as $4.25 in the city and near JFK airport.

I have definitely changed how much I drive. Luckily I also work for the local transportation company so riding the bus and train is free. So I use my free pass ALOT more and just use the car to go to places where the bus can't take me or I need to go shopping.

I started changing driving habits when the cost of gas went higher than the cost of a local bus ride ($2). Roadtrips and driving vacations were out.

My feeling is that the government could stop this if they wanted to. They could easily pass a bill to limit how much gas should cost but they won't becasue it benefits them too much.

Guys guys, I live in Germany part time and these conversions to $11 per US gallon or $13.50 are off the wall!!! Lets do the math: gas there is about 1.4 Euros a liter. A Euro is 1.58 US $ (Yahoo Finance tonight). A liter is 0.264172052 US gallons (Google).

So 0.264172052 US gallons (one liter) costs $1.58 x 1.4 or $2.21. Therefore one US gallon costs $8.36.

There you have it.
