There are plenty of games out for OS X, enough to keep a gamer satisfied at least. I know there is not as many in comparison to Windows Machines, but does it matter? Mac users have boot camp anyway. Once I finish my degree in software engineering I would really like to step up and develop for Macs.

I'm not a huge gamer, the only games I play are Mario Kart on the 64 or Crash Bandicoot on the LEGO playstation. My recent Mac gaming experience was not good. I blame EA for making Spore suck on mac. It's faulty, and does not play... I did a blog post about it, it frusterated me so much.

Well, there is always the 2 best blizzard games too. Starcraft and the Diablo series. If gaming was popular on Mac like it is on the Windows, I would have switched. However since most of the games I like are only for Windows, I'm gonna have to stick with Windows. I wonder if the Orange Box is available for Mac.

EVE online is a awsome game, I played it in on linux, it uses cedaga to play it, but besides that it was really cool, Im glad they put it out on Mac it will just add more people to the war and it will make the game all the more fun. If you dont know what the war is the game has a war going on between 4 races thats the story of the game.

Now we need other game developers to follow the lead of these brave developers. If the future of Mac gaming is going to survive, then the Macintosh platform also needs to have exclusive games that are not available to other systems. Only then will the masses be drawn to gaming on the Mac.

Yeah it's not easy to find games for OSX, but last year I found World of Goo for Mac. By far one of the best games I played last year by far, It won Indie game of the year too. best part is that it's only 80 something MB. If there ever was an essential game for mac, I'd say this one is it.
