I travel often. My parents like to go camping, I am not really into that stuff but I have no choice. I carry around my zune all that time. The problem is that I didn't buy a case for it and I cracked the screen. It still works but it is useless for videos now. :,(

i like these's tips..i have a laptop case that cost $60-$80...i think and it has like heaps of pockets and it looks really strong and it doesnt really have a place for all the cords thought thats the downside...but when i get a new laptop i might have to get a bigger case because the screen might be bigger and the one i have noe fits my laptop nice and snug...

those are very good tips. I know when i travel i usually have a bag that is just full of all my electronics and accessories. The iPod is essential because when sitting and waiting you can always listen to music. I have a seperate case for all my electronics.

Bringing the cords is key, you're right because there is nothing more depressing than being somewhere away from home and not being able to use your electronic device.

When we used to travel a lot as a family someone would always forget a power cord! How to prevent this? We've made one simple rule: when your device is charged, or when you stop charging your device unplug it from the wall and stick it in your pack. This has saved me tens of dollars, and I suggest it for anyone who is traveling with teens, or forgetful people.

I usually always travel with at least one of my tech devices. I usually always take my iPod with me every were, even to school. Cause that is were I watch all my podcasts. Now if I will be going on a longer trip I will take my laptop, PSP, and sometimes I may even pack up my external hard drive and take that thing with me as well. So there is what I usually take with me when I am on the go.

Great tips thanks alot! I will consider some of these ideas. one thing i think that they should do is have plug sockets on all! planes in all classes it would be a alot better for me then and also plug sockets at airports so i can plug my laptop in!.

Very good ideas and hints, especially the last one, making a list of what you take with you.
I don't usually travel with a lot of electronic devices, but that is a very good idea. A list of devices and their associated powercords/hookups/etc. is always a good idea.
