This is something we think about a lot. When you’re expecting a child, your mind naturally wonders what he or she will be like growing up. What will they enjoy? Will they excel in something? Will they enjoy the things we do, or be a confusing little opposite?
Ryan Underwood asked:
WWYD if your child hates technology and star wars?
When I first read this question, I laughed a little. I scoffed at the idea of my child not enjoying LEGO bricks, Star Wars and technology. A second later, I realized it doesn’t matter. I will “do” the same thing my Dad did for me when I hated numbers and sports (two things he absolutely loves):
He loved me unconditionally. That’s exactly how I am with our child already. It doesn’t matter if we have a girl who shuns all of the things I love. We will encourage her passions and let her follow her own path.
