The live stream and blog is really entertaining, but there are people constantly breaking rules…it does get a little frustrating. Thanks for the reminders on how to be a good member!

Matt, you specifically weren’t banned but another supporter was accidentally banned and that caused all the supporters to be banned as well. We removed the ban as soon as it was brought to our attention and the hop that set the ban incorrectly feels really bad about it. Sorry for the trouble!

I’m admittedly still learning the culture of your live community. In my opinion some of the ops are a bit too ban happy and have even banned me for no apparent reason at all.

A few nights ago when you were set to open the Optimus keyboard at 1000 viewers, one of the ops became prematurely “vocal” and within a few seconds dropped the viewer count by more than 100.

I had been watching a movie and not chatting at this point, but when I did decide to contribute to the chat I found that I had been banned. Not moderated, banned.

I’m a sustaining member of wylderyde and prefer to use my registered nic, so when I had to create a temporary nick just to chat, I was perturbed.

Not really clear what your “Live Community” is (its constitution). Is it tied together by a collection of tools? This is our idea of Livecommunity: http://sixgroups.com

Well said and a good reminder.

These rules should be mandatory for all chat rooms. Perhaps if someone gets booted they are taken to page that states these rules. And then someone sneaks up behind them and billy clubs them on the head. Too much?

It is amazing how far we have come online and yet how much things haven’t changed much.
